THE R&A FOUNDATION
The R&A Foundation combines funding from The R&A with philanthropic
investment to support global initiatives that transform lives and communities
through golf. As one of the first financial supporters, they have been vital in
providing annual grants to the Academy. Since their partnership was established in 2010, when Louis Oosthuizen won The Open at St Andrews, The R&A Foundation has consistently supported the ACADEMY’s Golf Development program and initiatives to encourage more young women to play golf. In fact, they are the main sponsor of STINGER GC ACADEMY’s golf development program.

PINNACLE POINT ESTATE
Located near Mossel Bay, South Africa and crafted by renowned golf course
designer Peter Matkovich, Pinnacle Point boasts a picturesque setting
overlooking the Indian Ocean. This world-renowned course has received
numerous accolades, thanks in part to its distinctive layout of 72 par holes.
Admired for its breath-taking views, Pinnacle Point features seven holes that
run alongside the rocky cliffs of the Indian Ocean, with four of them played
over the ocean itself. Since 2015, the prestigious STINGER GC ACADEMY has
been proudly based at Pinnacle Point.
STANDARD BANK GROUP LIMITED
One of the largest banks in South Africa, Standard Bank is also the biggest
lender in Africa. Since the start of 2023, STINGER GC ACADEMY and Standard
Bank have joined forces to work on several community projects in the
Southern Cape region. With the help of other stakeholders, these projects have
resulted in a new playing field for 1,500 students at a nearby primary school
and ongoing financial aid for a soup kitchen in Albertinia, a neighbouring town of Mossel Bay.
SUPERSPORT
As part of the MultiChoice Group, SuperSport is a South African-based sports broadcaster. They broadcast in 54 countries across the African continent. Over the past number of years, SuperSport has produced and flighted various short format documentaries and stories on the STINGER GC ACADEMY, highlighting top juniors, the golf development program, and the annual Charity Golf Day at Pinnacle Point. These documentaries have significantly assisted STINGER GC ACADEMY in creating awareness of various charitable causes aimed at addressing the social needs of especially underprivileged children within the reachable communities.
